Stunning Double-manual Harpsichord was originally made in Antwerp in 1617and ravalé by François Étienne Blanchet, Paris, 1750.
Probably once the property of Louis XV and commissioned by Mme de Pompadour for him.
The exterior of the case and lid are decorated by François Bouchet and by Christoph Huet.
