Success!  Lower outside moulding successfully glued in place!

 

        Success!  Here the lower outer moulding has been successfully glued in place using a myriad of clamps, especially near the treble where the resistance to bending was the greatest.  This photograph marks what is probably the first time since the seventeenth or eighteenth century that this method has been used to construct the case of an Italian harpsichord.
