Ward ceiling 2

Staining on the ceiling of the children's ward from bat and rat faeces dropped onto the top surface of the ceiling.  There seems little hope of being able successfully to eliminate bats and rats from the ceiling space.  The obvious solution is to remove the ceiling and deprive the rodents of their living space and then insulate the lower surface of the roof and to provide ventilation to allow any remaining heat build up to escape.

The door leads to the nurses' bedroom.  A small amount of subsidence is also indicated by the cracking of the wall near the right door jamb.
