Spruce soundboard wood

This is sold only in complete flitches which I will not split up.  We will make a conservative estimate of the total usable area in each flitch.  Let us know if you want a small or a large flitch.

 

First quality spruce soundboard wood - £587 per square metre

Slightly inferior quality spruce soundboard wood - £513 per square metre

(Please note:  Kiln-dried Sitka spruce is available in the UK for £377 per square meter.  It is kiln dried, it is not the traditional European white sprice, and it is NOT not sold in flitches and so is of variable grain and colour since each plank comes from a different tree.)

 

 

Italian cypress

For case sides and soundboards:  The case and soundboard cypress is sold in complete planks each xxxmm thick  The available lengths are:   .  Each plank, suitable for case sides or soundboard material (plank sawn) is sold separately as a complete plank. 

First quality cypress in thin planks xxxcm long and xxxmm thick - £489 per square metre

 

For jackrails, registers, keyblocks, etc:  First quality cypress in thick planks xxxcm long and xxxmm thick.  This is sold per cubic metre in widths of about XXXcm and whatever length you choose up to 4 metres - £3,300 per cubic metre

 

 

African ebony

First quality African ebony sold in planks xxx thick, xx cma wide, and whatever length you choose up to xxxxm long.

Black, fine-pored African ebony - £63 per kilogramme
